Hi! I'm Susan Williams, and have been sewing since I was 9 years old. I have loved teddy bears as long as I can remember, and collected them for many years.
I didn't know about the world of artist bears or even mohair until about 1999 when I saw a mohair bear, and then something made me want to try my hand at making one. I started with a pattern and plush felt....... then discovered mohair and I was hooked!
I have been designing my own creations since late 1999. I love creating something that does the simple thing of bringing a smile to a person's face. I completely hand sew all my creations, putting a lot of love into each of them. My bears come from a smoke free pet free home.
